GIVRC 2010 Winter Tennis Competiton Entry

Unrestricted Senior, Junior and Pennant Members wishing to play winter competition in 2010 may complete their entry and payment online. Credit Card payment must be completed successfully for your entry to be accepted.

If selecting a Doubles or Mixed formats always tick Partner Required or you will be charged double the entry fee!

Members may post their application form (downloadable from the News section on this Website) with a cheque for the entry fee to: 

GIVRC Pennant Secretary, PO BOX 39, GLEN IRIS VIC 3149. Cheques must be payable to The Glen Iris Tennis Club.

ENTRIES CLOSE 12th February 2010!

  To enter and pay  On Line:

 1. Login with Username (MemberID) and password.

For MemberID refer to your membership card. Use the forgot password link to retrieve your password if you are unable to remember it (the default is your Surname).

2. Select the Competition and Event format you wish to enter from the drop down list.

3. If selecting a Doubles format always tick Partner Required!

4. Proceed to the shopping cart to review your event selection.

5. Proceed to the Checkout for payment via PayPal. Payment is by VISA or MASTERCARD.

6. At the checkout stage an Additional Comments window will allow you to make any relevant comments regarding your entry. ie 2nd priority

7. Return to the Glen Iris Web Site following completion of payment.

Competition Formats & Time Slots appear below

Entrants must select either One Singles (Single/Doubles is considered a Singles format) or One Doubles format only. Selecting more than one Competition format will result in you being charged for both. You can indicate a second preference by using the Information dialogue field on checkout.

When selecting Doubles always select Partner Required or you will be charged double the amount!

If you wish to play as an Emergency only then select the Men's/Women's Emergency options for either Singles or Doubles. There is no Online charge when you select these format options only.

For the Pennant and Bayside competitions, Singles/Doubles refers to Singles and Doubles on alternate weeks. For the WDTA competition, Singles/Doubles refers to Singles and Doubles each week for a 2 to 4 member team.

If entering On Line there is no option to indicate 1st and 2nd preferences for more than one competition format. There is however an Information box at the checkout stage which can be used to indicate your 2nd preference. You will be contacted by the organisers if you can not be accommodated in your selected competition format.

Tournament Terms & Conditions
1. I am an unrestricted senior, junior or pennant playing member of the Glen Iris Tennis Club, 260-270 High Street Rd, Mt. Waverley 3149. Non Playing, Mid Week and Night categories are excluded. 2. Entrants will NOT be considered for team selection if their 2010 annual membership subs are not fully paid by the Entry closing date of 12th Feb 2010. 3. I will be available for the entire Winter competition season from late April to early September 2010. 4. The appropriate entry fees must be paid by the entry closing date of 12th February 2010 for a player to be considered for Team selection.
